What is a Rendezvous?.........Fun! Fun!! Fun!!!

Every year people just like you and me come to the mountains to primitive camp. We go through an amazing transformation as we dawn our leather clothes and moccasins. The place in time is the early 1800's when men were men. We hunted with Black powder rifles, started fires with Flint and Steel and trapped beaver for their "plews".

Sound good, eh?... Well it is! Rendezvous(RDV) is the most fun anyone could have camping. Rendezvous typically have events for everyone and every age. Most RDV's have Black powder rifle, pistol, shotgun and Tradegun shooting. Hawk and Knife throwing, Lance throw, Bow and Arrow shooting, fire starting contests with Flint and Steel, Mountain Man of the Year contest. Other events include Kids activities, Leather sewing, Basket weaving, Wool spinning, cooking. If it's fun we do it! Most RDV's last about 3-10 days and many allow visitors on certain days.
